SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: The ALDI Tiny Billboards Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) starts at 7:00 AM  Eastern Time (ET) on October 14th, 2022 and concludes at 8:00 PM Eastern Time (ET) on October 18th, 2022 (“Sweepstakes Period”).

ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia, excluding residents of New York, who are at least 18 years of age. Employees, officers, directors, members, agents, and representatives of ALDI Inc. (“Sponsor”), Leo Burnett, Busy Bee, Publicis Group, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, promotion and advertising agencies, and members of their immediate family (spouse and parent, children and siblings and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and persons living in the same household, whether or not related, of such employees, officers, directors, members, agents, and representatives are not eligible to enter or win. Void outside of the United States and where prohibited by law. Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.

HOW TO ENTER: No Purchase Necessary.  By entering the Sweepstakes, you agree that the information you provide will be used for Sweepstakes administration as well as for marketing purposes in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, viewable here.

Tiny Billboard Entry Method: During the Sweepstakes Period, Sponsor will place ten (10) physical tiny billboards in various public spaces in each of Atlanta, Georgia, Dallas, Texas and Minneapolis, Minnesota, for a total of thirty (30) tiny billboards.  Scan the QR code posted on the tiny billboard with your cellular device and complete and submit the entry form (located at the following URL: www.ALDIsweepstakes.com/tiny) through your device to receive one (1) entry.

Online Entry Method: To enter without scanning a physical tiny billboard, use your cellular device to scan the QR code shown on the downloadable version of the tiny billboard, located at the following URL: www.ALDIsweepstakes.com/tiny2 , and complete and submit the entry form through your device to receive one (1) entry.

Entries must be received during the Sweepstakes Period to be eligible.  The Sponsor’s computer is the official clock for this Sweepstakes.  Regardless of the entry method used, there is a limit of one (1) entry per person and per household for the Sweepstakes Period. Entries received from any person or household in excess of the stated limitation will be void. All entries become the sole property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. Entries generated by mechanical means and entries made by any means which subvert the entry process will be void.  By entering the Sweepstakes, you agree that the information you provide will be used for Sweepstakes administration as well as for marketing purposes in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy.

RANDOM DRAWING: Ten (10) potential prize winners will be selected in a random drawing held within approximately seven (7) days after the Sweepstakes Period from among all eligible entries received. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

WINNER NOTIFICATION: Sponsor’s decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Potential winners will be notified by mail, phone, and/or email and he/she may be required to complete an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability and Publicity Release (unless prohibited by law) and any other documents required by Sponsor, which must be returned within seven (7) days of date appearing on such prize notification. Return of prize or prize notification as undeliverable, failure to sign and return requested documentation within the specified time period, the inability of Sponsor to contact the potential winner within a reasonable time period or noncompliance with these Official Rules by the potential winner will result in disqualification and, at Sponsor’s sole discretion; prize may be awarded to an alternate. If a potential winner is at least 18 but still considered a minor in his/her jurisdiction of residence, prize may be awarded in the name of his/her parent or legal guardian who will be responsible for fulfilling all requirements imposed on winner set forth herein.

PRIZES (10): There will be ten total prizes, each consisting of a $5,000 ALDI gift card. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of all prizes: $50,000.

PRIZE CONDITIONS: Gift cards are subject to certain terms and conditions specified by Sponsor. No substitutions, cash redemptions or transfers are permitted. Gift cards are valid only in the U.S.A. for use at ALDI locations. Prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by Sponsor. Winners may not substitute, assign or transfer prize or redeem prize for cash, but Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute the prizes (or portions thereof) with one of comparable or greater value. Winners are responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes and all other costs associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided. All prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion.

GENERAL CONDITIONS: By participating, each entrant agrees: (a) to abide by these Official Rules and decisions of Sponsor and judges, which shall be final and binding in all respects relating to this Sweepstakes; (b) to release, discharge and hold harmless Sponsor, Weber Shandwick and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising and promotion agencies, and the respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents and representatives of the forgoing (collectively, “Released Parties”) from any and all injuries, liability, losses and damages of any kind to persons, including death, or property resulting, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes or any Sweepstakes-related activity or the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any awarded prize; and (c) to the use of his/her name, voice, performance, entry, and/or likeness for programming, advertising, publicity and promotional purposes in any and all media, now or hereafter known, worldwide and on the Internet, and in perpetuity by Sponsor and its designees, without compensation (unless prohibited by law) or additional consents from entrant or any third party and without prior notice, approval or inspection, and to execute specific consent to such use.

MISCELLANEOUS:  Released Parties are not responsible for any typographical, printing or other error in connection with this Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, technological malfunctions, errors in the printing/display of these Official Rules or any advertising or promotional materials, the administration of the Sweepstakes, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prize or in any other Sweepstakes-related materials. Released Parties are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, illegible, damaged, inaccurate, stolen, delayed, misdirected, undelivered, inaccurate entries. Entries made in violation of these Official Rules, as solely determined by Sponsor, will be void and the corresponding entrant may be disqualified. Should any portion of the Sweepstakes be, in Sponsor’s sole opinion, compromised for any reason, or should any cause, in the sole opinion of the Sponsor, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play, or submission of entries, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to terminate the Sweepstakes (or portion thereof) and, if terminated, at its discretion, select the potential winner from all eligible, non-suspect entries received in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND OTHER REMEDIES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES) FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.

ARBITRATION: Except where prohibited by law, as a condition of participating in this Sweepstakes, entrant agrees that (1) any and all disputes and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, or any prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by final and binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association and held at the AAA regional office nearest the entrant; (2) the Federal Arbitration Act shall govern the interpretation, enforcement and all proceedings at such arbitration; and (3) judgment upon such arbitration award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction. Under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental or consequential damages, or any other damages, including attorneys' fees, other than entrant's actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e., costs associated with participating in this Sweepstakes), and entrant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.

CHOICE OF LAW: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the substantive laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other laws.

REQUEST FOR WINNER’S NAMES: For the names of the winners (available thirty (30) days after the Sweepstakes Date) send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: ALDI Tiny Billboards Sweepstakes Winners, ALDI Corporate, Attn. Brand Marketing Team, 1245 Corporate Boulevard Aurora, Illinois 60505, for receipt no later than sixty (60) days after the Sweepstakes Date. Please include a 3 x 5 index card specifying the Aldi Location.
